Artist Talk : On soft constructions
Vanessa Bosch is an artist, curator and musician based in Zurich. Her practice combines video, sound, performance, sculptures and often explores how cultural narratives, technology, and belief systems shape our perception of the world. Alongside her artistic work, she co-runs an online music label.
In this artist talk, Vanessa Bosch will present selected recent works, offering insight into her approach to transmedia storytelling, community work in the art context in Switzerland, and sonic and visual research. The talk will also introduce Eternal Ghosts, an ongoing research project that investigates how renewable energy infrastructures, such as wind parks, solar fields, and hydropower plants, can be understood as contemporary sanctuary monuments The talk will share early research impressions.

This workshop invites participants to explore the resonances and contrasts between Latin American and Southeast Asian dramaturgical traditions, focusing on how each region shapes storytelling through ritual, politics, myth, and embodied performance. Through guided writing exercises, shared analysis of theatrical forms, and cross-cultural dialogue, we will examine how dramaturgy can emerge from landscapes marked by colonization, resistance, spirituality, and community. Participants will be encouraged to create scenes or short texts that weave together these influences, building bridges between different cultural imaginaries while discovering new possibilities for contemporary playwriting.

On 26 December 2025, from 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM, at Holiday Massage, Udon Thani.
The program begins with an Art Tour featuring artworks at the exhibition Thai Nguan Rice Mil and Holiday Massage, followed by live performances by three festival artists. Performances by Mongkol Plienbangchang and Nopawan Sirivejkul at Thai Nguan Rice Mill, while Chomphunut Phuttha at Holiday Massage.
In the evening, join us for the official opening ceremony, followed by a live music performance by Sound Some Noise, and enjoy a concert by Comesing One New Light & Sound of E-Lah, celebrating together until the end of the night.

The opening ceremony of the S.O.E 2025 Contemporary Art Festival
: Sound of Era, will be held on December 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Beung Wiang Space, Sri Chiang Mai, Nong Khai Province.
The event begins with an Art Tour showcasing the artwork and beauty of Sri Chiang Mai, followed by a panel discussion with history experts, a live performance by artist Wilawan Wiangthong at the 100-Year-Old House, and a special gathering featuring a traditional Moo Krata from “One Tribe ฆัวเดียวกัน” at opposite Wiang Kaew 2 restaurant.
The evening will conclude with the official opening ceremony, a performance of contemporary Northeastern Thai folk music by “Si Ho Noi Pong Lang,” and a live music performance by Kyozawei, a band from Laos.
